IN EVERY COMMUNITY...boys and girls are left to find their own recreation and companionship in the streets. An increasing number of children are at home with no adult care or supervision. Young people need to know that someone cares about them.
Boys & Girls Clubs offer that and more. Club programs and services promote and enhance the development of boys and girls by instilling a sense of competence, usefulness, belonging and influence.
The Boys and Girls Club of Western Broome Family Center has been serving its community since 1963. Our club expands its services to adults and seniors, offering services to all members of the community in a caring, recreational environment including many low cost services for the betterment of our community.
Eight years ago, we named our annual golf tournament in honor of Joe Caldwell, former Endicott mayor and founder of the original Mayor's Tournament to benefit the Boys & Girls Club. It is one of our major fundraisers. We moved it back to its original home at En-Joie Golf Course, and continue to hold it there. Thanks to Joe's family and this community, the tournament benefits the Club each year.
